If we are dependent on Congress to save Terry Schiavo we are in deep trouble and need to pray harder. Good St. Joseph help us. President Bush doesn't have to worry about re-election. Why doesn't he just sign an executive order protecting Terry civil rights and placing the matter in the federal courts, given that the supoenas were ignored. Everything seems so backa@@wards! The courts want to give extra rights to gays but can't see that Terri's are protected.
We've had it for a while; but when they try to force euthanasia of the disabled against our will, we must respond. (Personally, I think we should have responded long ago; but I think many Americans are finally awaking to how far the judiciary will go.)
I've been racking my brain and am throwing this out there for brainstorming: Can anyone think of a peaceful, powerful way we the American people who support Terri can make a statement to the judiciary that we no longer recognize and abide by their authority if they persist in this evil?
