I aver that every delay in this case reduces exponentially the chances of the tubes' ever being disconnected. Politicians (Dem or Rep) who don't care if Terri starves to death are going to be increasingly uncomfortable with the attention being paid across the country to this issue. HRC, for example, will not have the stomach for the possibly two weeks long deathwatch if Terri's tubes are removed. I think most of the anti-Terri pols' resolves will weaken as the media plays videos of with Terri, accompanied by voice-overs saying, "It's been four days since Terri Schiavo had food or water..."
