I don't know, I hadn't heard that yet. DeLay said (about 1.5 hours ago) that Bush WILL call an emergency session if it reaches a critical point (where it looks like Terri isn't going to hold on much longer). I really hope they don't wait that long, though, so that she doesn't have to keep suffering until Monday.

Thanks for that link, tutstar. I have a gut feeling that this crisis will become a defining moment in American history. It calls to mind the Dred(sp?) Scott decision.

I am just so disgusted with this. And the democrat liberal death cultists are trotting out their medical "ethicists" to try to convince people that the criminal starvation of Terri will be painless and peaceful. The liberals are a bunch of sick monsters. The GOP should intervene now!

I think he's waiting till all the ducks are in a row. If Congress can't get this resolved, GWB will. It's too awful that Terri has to be deprived in the meantime though.

We need to inform all the personalities that are on air. Email them the story of Terri speaking out today and go from there. Hannity is on Terri's side.
I think that we need to email them articles from TEJ so they can get the drift. Scoop1 has dug up some serious illegalities and we need to make sure that we try to get that info to the Congress and AG as well.
There is a lot we can do.

I hear ya. And that very thing has come up before, on these boards, that the court ruled that she's PVS so, she is. There's no logic in that argument.

Neither of those would work, and it would backfire. A JUDGE would dismiss all the charges VERY quickly, and the bast@rds would be off scott-free.
Better idea would be protective custody during a 60 day investigation, and give her the FULLEST possible therapy during those 60 days. EVERYTHING that the hubbie has denied her all these years.
With a little luck and prayer she would be noticably better,
maybe even able to swallow baby food all on her own safely.
