Not to keep arguing but you odnt know what you are talking about.

Go back, and research the state of the science of Andro in 1998.

AllHype, no delivery. Andro did not become effective till 4Androstene17diol was discovered, and that was not what McGuire was using.

Going onestep further andro could NEVER deliver the same benefits, as those McGwire reaped.

so....it would be impossible for McGwire to have put on any amount of weight working out all off-season?

The rumors that he took steroids are just that....rumors. Until someone can PROVE any of this, it is all just speculation. Unlike Bonds, who admitted to using steroids, just not knowing that they were steroids (according to leaked Grand Jury Testimony).

So, the science of ANDRO does not matter. He was a big guy coming into the league, hitting 49 HR his rookie season. It is not unfathomable to believe that he could gain weight or muscle by working out alone. Maybe the "ANDRO" acted as a placebo for him. As I stated previously, until someone can prove McGwire took steroids, IMHO he did not. And if the only "proof" is written in Canseco's book....that thing is so full of mistruths, it reads like John Kerry's war record.
