For 20 years I lived only a bit over 2 hours ffrom DC.............and yet haven't ever seen the cherry blossoms, except on TV. of course I was spoiled as a kid - saw them every year in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

It would be great if we could have Laura Ingram or Rush or Glenn Beck broadcast a live "remote" during the rally... their pre plugs would be invaluable in public awareness of not only the rally but the issues.

I attended the first "March for Justice" but due to economics I will not be able to do so this time. Even though I know it is as important, if not more so, this time around - I have more immediate needs and concerns.
I was making almost $40 an hour in 1998 and had my pick of many jobs. Now I am making $12 an hour and lucky when I can find a job. I am not unique in this position.
I have had the (misfortune) of meeting others who are also in the same position and there is no immediate way out of this hole we are in financially.
Some have noted that the unemployment level is not that much greater but they don't realize that many of those working at McDonalds and Walmart (were) working for High Tech companies and doing quite well 6 years ago.
9/11 killed more than the people in the twin towers and pentagon. It (and illegal immigration) killed the base of employment for years to come and we may not recover from those two factors anytime in the near future.
Sorry folks. I would love to attend so you will have to work doubly hard to represent those of us who struggle for basic necessities.

There is no way I can participate in this most important march. However, Free Republic will receive a donation for sure. I am very proud to be a member of Free Republic and your plan is awesome. I will be there with you all in spirit.

I will be there JimRob! Hopefully, with the little Eagles in tow! Never to early to teach a civics lesson and serve as an example of a Patriot!

I cannot be present in person, but I shall be with you in spirit. If there is a support fund, please let us know how to contribute.
I saw Justice Scalia on CSpan a few days ago, speaking on the topic of interpreting the constitution. He made what I would consider an inarguable case in favor of Originalism. He also pointed out that the very terms of the present crisis - brought on by the (perhaps) well-intentioned fools who buy the "living document" fallacy - clearly indicate that the selection of judges has become instead a selection of the authors of a revised constitution.
This is, in iteslf, completely illegal. As you, I, and everyone else on FR knows, there are only two legal means for revising or re-writing the constitution: the amendment process; convening a constitutional convention.
Our federal representative legislature needs to be sharply reminded of this fact.
Go get 'em!
