I agree with you. On the Caterpillar thread, someone posted a picture of her, dead. And made fun. This is wrong. We are better than that.

There once was a girl Rachael Corrie
Who had visions of terrorist glory
She wielded a bullhorn trigger
but the Israeli bulldozer was bigger
And squished her right into the floory.

I hope the IDF sues the Corries for being dumbasses.

There is no dignity in exulting in the death of this woman. She was wrong in every way, but God will judge her now. What do we gain by further denigrating her?

That's a jejune question. It's not an either/or proposition. We can let her go to judgement without glorifying in her death AND without making her a heroine. God judges us as we judge others; as we forgive others, so He forgives us. Is feeling joy in this woman's death worth the price?

She was an America hating
terrorist sympathizer!
What are we to make of your sympathy? Just whose side are you on?

I was certainly not 'joyous' over her death.
We can let her go to judgement without glorifying in her death AND without making her a heroine.
If the so-called Palestinians want to erect a statue of a defiant Rachel Corrie with her raised fist forever taunting her chances of survival at the foot of a monstrous, unseeing bulldozer, let them go right ahead. Change the name of their encampment to Corrieland for all I care.

I suggest you educate yourself on the truly amazing and God given concept of Self Preservation.

LOL!!
I don't recall seeing that Bart Simpson one before. Pure ego on my part - I did that one with a web-based generator, so I wasn't as proud of it. Still, this thread deserves everything I've got.
Thanks for the attaboy.

This young woman laid down in front of a bulldozer, and assumed it would stop. What ignorance.I just can't work up any sympathy.I can see the family would be torn up,but what do they expect?
