Kerry Pacer was used to the whispering behind her back, the name-calling and the snickering when she walked down the hall. But when almost the entire student body at White County High School booed as she accepted a rose from a female friend during a Valentine's Day (news - web sites) program last month, she knew it was time to do something.

So is everyone else who is unsaved, "children of wrath." There is no distinction.

Sounds like you're crying out for more litigation---heaven help us...

An adult physically threatening another adult often can only be handled by filing a restraining order or an order of protection--there aren't really many other options. When it comes to children--the threshold for such things ought to be much higher--or else it would become unmanageable. Can you imagine children getting Orders of Protection filed against their schoolmates?? It would be ludicrous...

This classification of incest is surprising if homosexual conduct were the next worst thing to the unforgivable sin.

The issue isn't the degree of sin. The Lord calls an uneven scale an "abomination" as he does sodomy. The critical difference here is that no one is lobbying for commercial dishonesty to be seen as an inborn lifestyle worthy of acceptance by the body politic.

Do not confuse how Satan is exploiting the situation in the present era with the sin itself. Every era has had its rages and blindnesses, and this is a rage and blindness of the current era. Other eras championed such abominations as chattel slavery (not a Christian concept) and racial discrimination. The powerful spokesmen for these practices finally passed away. I think sooner or later this will implode too, unless the Lord comes and makes it all moot.

Not quite. "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!"

There is rather a large distinction between those who are repentant for sin and those who refuse to believe they are in sin, as well as those who refuse to call them to repentance.

ALL who are unsaved are in the "woe" category; that's how unsaved behave. You are trying to create some "super sinner" class -- no can do.

Getting a rose from a girl would make me vomit.

You must be part of the 10% on FR who is female.

There are those who recognize sin and turn from it.

There are those who refuse to recognize sin and call sin virtue. This is the "reprobate mind" that Paul laments and Isaiah decries. The ones who justify this are the "ravenous wolves," the false teachers, the servants of the Devil. To ignore this distinction is to say that there is virtually no difference between the penitant and the non-penitant sinner.

The nicest unbeliever falls in this category. I note with great interest that you have never refuted that.

Take a look at yourself before judging others..yes there lifestyle is wrong, but do not judge

This has got to be the bigeest christian copout for tolerance of evil that I have witnessed in a long time. EVERYONE exercises judgement over others by virtue of freedom of association.

It's not just the lifestyle when they are not repentant.

we're burning people at the stake for being witches.

That was the 1690's ... you're off by about a century.

There is nothing "nice" in refusing to acknowledge sin as sin. You've refuted it yourself.

A lot people like to use the “ cast the first stone” line. But they seem to leave off the ending.
“then go and sin no more”
And being that’s it’s a trinity. And we know what his Dad had to say about it.

Don’t be fooled by DUs responding to what you said.

How about filing a charges of assault?

Yikes. You're actually suggesting children ought to have less legal protections against the threat of violence because it might unmanageable.

Minors can and should be charged with assault when an assault occurs. Just like they should be charged with robbery, or theft, or destruction of property or whatever.

Sure, the system should take into account the age of the child. But better to put a stop to the behavior now than sometime after they turn 18.

Do you really think kids just turn off that type of behavior when they become legal adults?

We own slaves, only white men can vote or own property, we're burning people at the stake for being witches.

Y'all sound really busy...

Not everyone owned slaves.

Voters (free, white, male, 21, and a property owner) had a vested interest in the well being of what governmnet there was, because they were the ones who funded it, not the other way around.

Burning witches was a Massachussets affectation. I am unaware of any other place in the colonies where that occurred.

so can you tell me that WITHOUT A DOUBT the day you die and stand before god youll get in heaven,

Until you can, back off (and if i were to die right now i probably wouldnt get in,why? because i dont sit here and think that just ONE sin is gonna damn me for all eternity,i will not live my life as a mindless drone who goes around judging others because they think its what they should do,or they go to hell,im not the type thats gonna burn books and cd's because i think thats what i should do to get to heaven,i dont go around saying "im better than you cause im a christian," if i did..i hope god humbles me quickly

im sick of christians saying we should go around and scream n shout "youre goin to hell!!!!" thats bullcrap

i dont call myself a christian because i believe the church aint nothin but a man made moneygrabbin judgemental sepretist association of people who think that there better than everyone just because they show up on sunday mornin and wenesday night doesnt make you a true believer..

you can talk..but you have to walk to..you have to see yourself as the same as others..we are ALL sinners no matter how many times youve been at church a week or if your the preacher,we sin,we are unclean, and we have no say about other people who sin because we are the same as them..god does not hate one particular sin more than the other he hates all sin equally

i think gays were probably victims or rape, abuse as children..but if there gonna embrace that lifestyle fine whatever..its there soul,

they cry about wanting rights..they got em..same as the rest of us..but what do you expect people to do? say "oh your gay! thats cool!!" no your gonna be like me and be afraid of getting your arse ripped apart, getting humilated, getting sexaully assaulted and raped by those bastards,

i think that if there gonna continue shovin this crap down our throats they deserve whatever they get THEY MADE THAT CHOICE THEY WERE NOT BORN THAT WAY I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS!

the liberals say its about love, its not its about sex, about getting laid, plain and simple..they couldnt make it with a girl and so they went after anything they can stick theirseleves into,

Just my opinion, and no hard feelings, this is just how i feel
