Paid BACK to the gov't, or paid to the individual at 30? The man is nuts. Why would I give the government my money to hold on to and collect less than 2% interest when I can invest it myself and control the gains? The man is not thinking.
It seemed like 5 of which were spent trying to get a pledge that she would never run for president, which she said several times she had no intention of doing. Looking for a promise that Hillary! can throw back at her???
Mark Malloch Brown, chief of staff to U.N. sounds almost exactly like Mark Steyn. I really like this accent. I wonder if they went to the same school? I wonder if they know each other? Mark Steyn seems to know a whole lot of people, based on the wide variety of articles he writes.
;-)
Notice how he kept hammering Dr.Rice about whether she will run for president. Again and again and again he wanted her to say NO I'll not accept and if elected I will not serve. He badgered her( or tried to) waiting for a sound bite he can hold on to in his fat pantywaist hands so he can pull it out if down the road Dr.Rice would test the waters. Now why he didn't confront Clinton the same way, only Timmy can tell you. HIllary just laughed him off and pudgy Timbo let her slide.
*LOL*
I was astounded by the clown that went into a 2 minute Screwy Louis Farakhan numerology lesson in an attempt to relate some world event with numbers spelled out in clouds that he saw.
It scares me sometimes that there are people like this walking around out there.
Oh Geesh, who would pay for this? Would the money just fall out of a tree somewhere? No! They'll take our money to do it. I'd rather set up my OWN $2000 for my own children. I can invest better than the government. I don't like robbery and strongarming for my own "good".
And they know how to get through to CSPAN!
If you feel that way, then you are, in the famous words of the Governator, YOU ARE A REPUBLICAN ;)
>Bolton appointment to the UN..reads his statements(LOL).
You don't need to watch multiple talk shows on Sundays. Just close down your eyes and you will hear the same questions(probably prepared by liberal attack dogs) asked on every show.
My wife says she keeps trying to look like a teeny bopper.
I have enjoyed Monica when she guest hosts for Sean. I don't get pmsnbc - and don't care to, thanks!
Harold Ford has a very good chance of carrying Tennessee in his bid for Frist's senate seat.
Semper Fi
I kept willing her to politely press back with, "I've answered your question, Tim. Move on."
And, each time he repeated the question, she repeated the answer. Russet would soon move on or sit there as his show stalls to a stony contest of fake smiles.
I was floored one night when she was on for Sean, and warned Alan that her mother - his mil - would be watching, so be nice.
Oh, great..
UN spokesman up now...Discussing break over Iraq...Brown admits the rules for choosing Human Rights members needs changing...Wallace asks about sexual abuse coverup..until report leaked...Brown excusing ..Kofi turned it over to a another judge, said it would not hold up in court..The perp had "great stature"..
He was asked to resign because of what happened after the original allegation(sure)..
Wallace saying sexual abuse going on for years by UN troops...More excuses..Need improving lines of commands and standards like US and Britain have.
Still reminds me of the initial scene of "The Godfather" between the Don and the undertaker.
Good point. He pushed her to the point of ridiculousness. I don't think she does want to run or will run but Russert just had to shut her up in terms of talking about anything substantive.
With a lot of former Secretary of State and other political interviews, I used to listen and think, "well, I must just be dumb because I don't know what they're talking about."
Then the Bush administration took over and I realized that when people make sense, they are easy to understand. LOL
LOL! Bet that shut Alan up.
