The Code Pink name was picked as a play on the terrorist alert levels (Code Yellow, Code Orange, etc.).
Also, it is part of their marketing ploy to women such as soccer moms, to use a color traditionally considered to be feminine.
It is unintended irony that the leaders are pinkos in every sense of the word.
