Eight dead, four injured in Brookfield hotel shooting spree (Near Milwaukee, WI)

Eight people are dead and four others injured after gunfire broke out during a church meeting this afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield. Police say that the suspect is among the eight dead and no other suspects are being sought.

The dead range in age from 10 years old to 72.

Several church groups meet at the Sheraton at different times. It is a large hotel with many meeting rooms used by organizations and companies.

Shooter's house is apparently in the northern end of New Berlin. Described on TV as being off Sunnyslope Rd. Looks like it is just south of Greenfield Ave.

It is a blue collar area of New Berlin. Smaller homes from just after WWII.

Well, this is what I found:

Matt Hale Judge Lefkow's name became known in white power circles during the Hale trademark infringement case involving Hale's church, which he called Church of the World Creator. Hale was convicted of soliciting the murder of Judge Lefkow after that trial. He is in solitary confinement at the Metro Correctional Center in the Loop, where he is not allowed to watch TV, read newspapers, listen to the radio or send and receive mail. Hale has no visitors other than his parents for an hour a month.

That may be. But not with this group. Their doctrine specifies Saturday as 'the Sabbath', and at least at one time excluded celebrating such holidays as Christmas.
