Eight people are dead and four others injured after gunfire broke out during a church meeting this afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield. Police say that the suspect is among the eight dead and no other suspects are being sought.
The dead range in age from 10 years old to 72.
Anyway, I guess I am a junkie. Besides I often write columns that are relevant to social events/issues, so I have to keep aware. But, as I age, it gets harder for some reason. Maybe I cherish peace more now.
I am just getting on FR, but I can't help noticing that Fox News hasn't broken away from it's redundant coverage of the Atlanta murders to cover this story---
I even checked Drudge and found no mention of this story--
Any ideas about why?
My first thought was that the libs keep blaming Bush's war on terror for all of the attacks around the world---do you think they will blame him for the rash of attacks this week in the good ole USA?
I am watching Fox and waiting. They just ended discussion about the Press Conference and the Atlanta killer. I gotta get out of my jammies soon....so I need a break. LOL
I know enough about it to realize that you are an apologist for an evil "religion", with a bitter hatred for Christianity.
Imam 'instructed British Muslims to kill infidels'
A MUSLIM cleric toured Britain for four years urging audiences to observe the teachings of Osama bin Laden and kill all Jews, Hindus and Westerners by any means available, including chemical and nuclear weapons, a court was told yesterday.
Abdullah el-Faisal, a 39-year-old imam, addressed thousands of young Muslims across the country on their pressing duty to learn how to fire guns, fly planes and use missiles in their mission to kill all unbelievers.
The Old Bailey was told that Sheikh el-Faisal instructed his followers on ways to murder non-Muslims, a wonderful act that would ensure their immediate entry into paradise.

Get the similarity??
No, I do not get any similarity; but I do find your tagline to be rather offensive.
Sometimes I think we should be able to hear what all these people say off the air, rather than on-air. We would get a better idea of what their real feelings are - and they are the ones who profess to be advocaters of Political Correctness!
WEXT-FM, The Wolf (104.7) is a country music station in Milwaukee, I was listening to them around 1:55pm and they had it. They were giving almost the same amount of info as WTMJ. The morning girl, Jen Marr, was on a weekend shift and doing a great job between songs. BTW, great station if you like Waylon, Willie, Conway, and Cash.
But you're right. To claim they don't know the source through whatever button *they* punched is a load of BS.
I have no theory on how it's related. Maybe they only play these incidents up on TV when gun legislation is in process. Or maybe they only propose gun legislation when they play these incidents up on TV. Or maybe just cosmic rays.

Milwaukee is a small market and small potatoes to the MSM. Also I suspect the MSM and cable networks exhausted all their resources on the Georgia deal and were not agile enough to cover two big stories at one time.
I do expect a piggyback with the Georgia story, if not tonight, on Monday. Gun control, fringe religions, blah blah blah..........
Be ready to answer any calls for more restrictive gun laws with: If some of these victims would have been legally armed, there may have been a lot less bloodshed!
By jove, you may be on to something now.... >:-)
Sounds like up to eight people have died so far.
We can be sure, however, there will be a loud cry against guns as a result of these two days of killings by guns. My son was shot, in the head, and is now blind as a result of a person with a gun. But, he had used guns himself for hunting, and knew how to handle guns. And my husband who is retired military has guns and knows how to use them. It is not the guns, it is the person/s holding the guns who have to be controlled and banned. But, that has always been the argument. It is based on morality, and we cannot decree or legislate morality any more than we can decree or legislate non-prejudice.
Some not so shocking details from Channel 4.
The guy is supposed to be a loner who lived with his mother.
Reporter Charles Benson is on scene at what is believed to be the shooter's home in Brookfield. The shooter's pickup truck has been taken from the scene.
Shooter lives in New Berlin.
Now watching CNN and not hearing anything here. They have even talked about the MJ trial and the Robert Blake trial...and the fires in Atlanta. Nothing yet about this shooting.
Oh no......prayers for their families AND the community!!
