A friend or acquaintance may work there. I'd like to know if the customs agent was at or near Lennox Mall or was kidnapped near the courthouse or parking garage.

Good point. I think the interview with the Chief was from last night, but am not sure.

This is not good news - this gives him access to places the average person cannot go.

The VERY first thing should be checking to see what type of gun did the shooting, as was said on the other thread.

Why was Nichols unbuttoning his shirt as he walked down the stairwell? Pics on CNN.

Yes they need to react quicker at this point. NOT like yesterday!

Another gun taken from a law enforcement officer. Imagine how completely defenseless law-abiding citizens would be if gun control were in place and this monster could KNOW FOR SURE that no law-abiding citizens would be armed.

Not unbuttoning; buttoning the jacket he took from the AJC reporter.

Anyone seen a picture of the dead customs agent? If he's white, less likely to be Nichols; if he's AA, then Nichols could more easily use his stolen ID.

It struck me as odd but unsurprising that the article omits any mention of race, when the perp is a black man. It would seem awfully important to know if the customs agent was a dark-skinned black man with short hair and a similar build as the courthouse shooter.

Oh. I hadn't caught that. Thanks.

Why did he take a jacket from the AJC reporter do you think?

I have those screen caps I will post here again. But I read on one of these threads he was changing clothes when he took the guards gun and went on this rampage, maybe just straightening himself out to look normal as he tries to get away.

My guess is that he was changing into a jacket he found. Or maybe he had blood on his shirt and took it off and put his courtroom jacket back on.

I'm worried he is going to go ballastic and just start shooting anything in sight, or even on the freeway. He's more than bad.

CNN said the customs agent was found "on Lenox Road."

He didn't have a shirt on--he was barechested, according to the AJC reporter when Nichols carjacked him. He took a suitcoat from the reporter's car and is buttoning it as he's in the stairwell.

"I hope the criminal-loving liberals are proud of themselves."

The elitist collectivist are enamored with themselves all the time. This rampage won't change a darn thing. The "true" blame they say is on capitalism keeping "everybody" down. Also the lack of social spending which the elites say if more is spent, humans would naturally turn to being good productive citizens.
