I have been on many sides of this issue in my life. I, or those very close to me, have experienced abortion, infertility and adoption. I just want those of you who are so sure of yourselves to know that there are women and men every day who agonize over this issue on many levels. Pray for the unborn, please, but also pray for their mothers, for those who chose abortion and for those who give their babies to loving homes.

And let a higher authority do the judging.

Hey, it's OK for God to judge all He wants, but doggone it, He put me in this universe to lead a moral and righteous life. That does not include toleration of those who slaughter the innocent.

Yes, we should pray for filty murderers who murder babies. On that you are correct. Murdering slime need prayer.

As long as moms agonize over their infants before they murder them . . . . That touchy-feely stuff has no place in deciding whether the unborn should be legally protected from murder.

And let a higher authority do the judging.

We judge that infanticide is wrong. We don't wipe infanticide laws off the books and say "let a higher authority do the judging". Only people who didn't realize how wrong infanticide is would even think of wiping such laws off the books and leaving the judging up to a higher power. If you realized that abortion was equivalent to infanticide, you would never suggest simply letting a higher authority judge.
