If she had not gone in his cell alone, against protocol, it would not have happened from what I am hearing. It could have happened to a man or woman who was alone with this guy.
It was more likely to happen with the woman. You think the prisoner was hoping he'd get the five foot grandma that day or the 210 pound NFL looking deputy? Should of been two or three guys and he should have been shackled too.Taking off the restraints once he's locked up would have been wise.

They believe in “equality” so they made it illegal to notice a difference between a five foot tall, 51 year old female deputy and a man in his prime.
They believe that same deputy can go “mano a mano” with a 6'1", 28 year old male. If you’re her boss and think the man could overpower her liberals would charge you with “work place discrimination”.
Apparently they made it illegal in Atlanta to shackle and handcuff a prisoner charged with a violent crime when escorting him into the courtroom because jurors might get the wrong impression....like he’s been charged with a violent crime or something.
These idiots are dictating policies and procedures to govern situations they don't know a dam thing about. Their hogwash has become the foundation for what a deputy can or can not do in life and death situations, has become the framework upon which an officer’s career or life is ended. Why do cops and deputies let them do it?
