I see we're all going to ignore the elephant in our conservative livingrooms and pretend the problem isn't that a woman cannot do everything that a man can do. None of us are safe or getting what we pay taxes for so long as women are allowed to "protect" us when they are physically unable to do the job.

I agree with you. A woman can't move as fast or with the strength of a man. But a Glock is a great equalizer and allows women to perform law enforcement tasks the same as men. I don't know this situation but after years and years of bringing the perps to the courtroom through the same corridor anyone, man or woman, can get lax.
Thank you for some common sense...Some of the reporters were yelling questions that were pretty un PC there...yet they were ducked..If it was indeed just the one female deputy with the prisoner..hell..if she was careless enough to let him get that close that he could grab her gun..well..here's my theory....they mentioned that she had some severe facial damage..they thought from falling after being shot...BS....my take is he grabbed her..smashed her face into the wall or florr, THEN took her gun..
No I agree a woman cannot physically handle the job, however even 1 large male would not have been enough for this defendant. It needed to be 2. That is what I meant.
