This is Atlanta.
Remember Baltimore Raven's football star Ray Lewis. He was caught with more than enough evidence to convict him of murder in Atlanta. Paul Howard was the Prosecutor. The victims were black, the defendants were black, the witnesses were black, the Police Chief was black, the Mayor was black. I think the only non-black participant was the Defense attorney. He was able to get Lewis off because somehow he accused the charges of being racially motivated.
In Atlanta that will get you a free get out of jail card.

"That there was a hung jury is beyond unbelievable."Remember the OJ Simpson trial? Right. That was in downtown Los Angeles. Nichols' trial was in the heart of the city of Atlanta.
I'm not at all surprised that he wasn't convicted.
