Remember the OJ Simpson trial? Right. That was in downtown Los Angeles. Nichols' trial was in the heart of the city of Atlanta.

I'm not at all surprised that he wasn't convicted.

My grandmother was murdered in Atlanta.

The evidence: Fingerprints inside the house.

Signed confession that matched the evidence
of the crime scene.

Testimony by the killer's roommate: "He told
me he killed an old woman that night."

Killer's own testimony on the stand that each
line of the confession was of in his own
words.

Verdict: Not Guilty
