Now, I don't recall Perry's Store, but the local Rotary (chiefly a Dr. Tomberlin) sponsored the "World Champion Domino Tournament" every July at the Lurleen B Wallace State Junior College (the LBWSJC, for short!).

I actually think it may have started with Perry Store which is just North of Kinston or East of Opp.

BTW, I am being totally straight when I say that in the hundreds of times I have driven by the store, there has been a dominoes game going on every single time.

I haven't been by in over 20 years tho.

I know we are getting off topic but there doesn't seem to be anything new on the shooting.
