Jeff the guy that Greg Jarrett was talking to on FNC sais that NONE of the defendants are brought into the court room anymore shackled becasue of the PC fear that it will prejudice the jury.Somehow, I'm thinkin if this guy is caught (alive), when he shows up in court again, he'll be restrained in some manner. At least I'd hope at THAT point he would be.

Let's hope so. But I'm not holding out much hope. He'd already been busted trying to sneak a home made knife into the courtroom on Wed.

I believe that person is mistaken. The prisoners are brought into the courtroom BEFORE the jury arrives. The prisoners are shackled as they are first brought into the juryless courtroom. Once IN the courtroom and just before the jury enters the restraints are removed.
It may vary based on physical set up of the court BUT the restraints are removed at the last possible step.
