The condition of the reporter who was pistol whipped and had his car stolen is good, he has a lump on the head and broke his wrist when he fell.
The suspect took the car and they believe that he may still be in the car.
The reporter was not in the courthouse, he was parking his car in his work garage, the suspect pulled next to him, pulled out a gun, and carjacked the car.
The reporter has already written a story about this experience and it is on the Atlanta Constitution website.
