O'Reilly Reaches a New Low, Features Jackson on Three Segments in One Show!

Posted on 03/10/2005 5:55:00 PM PST by Stakka Skynet

I have not tuned in to O'Reilly with much frequency since he revealed his true colors and dismissed the Swift Boat Vets, not to mention his disgraceful sucking up to Kerry in a failed attempt to get him on the show. Thought I would see how bad the show had actually gotten by now, and was not suprised. Opening segment about Jackson, followed by two others concerning the pajamas he had on in court today. An entire half hour devoted to Jacko!

Correction: make that FOUR segments. As I write this another one with Nepalitano(sp?).

I bet Greta will a field day with this (thank goodness for Scarborough).

To o'Reilly's credit, he did call Ward Churchill a traitor on his show last night.

It is not my favorite show, but I watch some of it some time. Didn't watch it tonight. I'm sick of the MJ story everywhere, not only on O'Reilly's show.

Must be no news around. We're getting scott peterson book tour groupies, jacko wacko antics, and churchill hates america reruns.

Nothing happening in Iraq because it's all good news. Nothing in Afghan cause it's all good news. Nor Syria, Lebanon, Saudi, etc.

SocSec could be better explained...that'd be a public service, but instead we'd get 2 arguing soundbitemeisters, 1 from each camp who spew talking points.

Better go with Wacko Jacko. Dealing with real stuff would be too much like work.

The Washington State counter military recruiters segment was kind of interesting.

I agree, enuf hype and exploitation already re: Jocko.

I am getting ready for Robert 'Sheets' Byrd's appearance on Hannity and Colmes. But who can deny that Jacko in his nightpants is a real ratings getter?!

Must. Not. Watch. Blo'Reilly/Vannity/Gretl freakshow-on-wheels.

I actually feel sorry for Alan Colmes being in the midst of all those things and their shills and hacks - I may not completely agree with his politics or opinions, but he seems to be the most-normal person in the entire three hours.

The Bright Side. The Michael Jackson thing is drowning out the Tony Baretta thing.
We take what we can get.

Absolutely. I don't care if he shows up to court in a pink tutu with Bubbles the chimp, it's not relevant to anything.

"I have not tuned in to O'Reilly with much frequency since..."

and don't forget how OR let traitor MM off the hook when he appeared on the show.

OR sucks, he's just another 'star' with a 'show'.

Fox News Bill O'REILLY HIT WITH SEX HARASS SUIT

QUOTE:

"According to the Kerry for President campaign, News Corp. President and chief operating officer Peter Chernin has endorsed the Democratic presidential candidate. News Corp. owns Fox News Channel."

"That would put Chernin in the ranks of some other Kerry-supporting media executives, including Barry Diller, Kirk Kerkorian (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.) and Harvey and Robert Weinstein, who backed the release of Michael Moore's controversial anti-Bush documentary, Fahrenheit 9/11.

____________

"News Corp. owns Fox News Channel." . . and Bill O'Reilly, and Hannity and Colmes. Is it any wonder direct posting from FoxNews is on the "No-No" list?

Has O'Reilly heard of Terri Schiavo. She's set to be starved to death next week. It's in the news. Does he care? Or is Michael Jackson's backache more important?

I very seldom watch O'Reilly, but I've been really disappointed by the amount of air time that Fox has been giving to the Celebrity Trial of the Day, Michael Jackson being the flavour of the moment.

At least Cavuto hasn't tried to slip in Jackson on some business angle. Or maybe I've missed it. I hope not.
