So FD, is Captain America going to represent Dell against CAIR? Dell will need all the help it can get.
There is NO WAY CAIR is going to let Dell get away with this...
to be continued...calling the ACLU...Yep.They are on their way!
Sorry to say, but in Australia we have already experienced the result of calls for such tolerance...several employers have been forced to both re-hire employees and/or provide a seperate room for muslim prayers.
What the muslims themselves do not realise is, they are not making gains for islam, they are turning even the most tolerant Australians against them. Work opportunities become limited as a result of this type of agitation. (Not that the clerics give a d*man.)
Islam must be oppressed, remember?
Jan,If CAIR wishes to pull that crapola with Dell, I WILL bya couple of 'puters fromthem just on the priciple of it. If you want, I'll even send ya one! :-)
CAIR is a fraud--the Jesse Jackson of the islamic world
Seriously, these guys don't have a leg to stand on because 1. they're 30 among 500 or more who found employment preferable, and 2. they're all temp employees who can't touch the company imposing it's rules.
I happen to know that the Dell company in Lebanon, Tennessee (no, I don't know why it's named that) has bent over backwards to accomodate their "religious needs" but rightfully expects all workers to put in the time required. That means breaks are 15 minutes unless stated otherwise. If your butt has to hang in the air any longer you're in violation of the temporary agency's contract that requires one to adhere to the company's schedule.
If I were a Somalian I'd be thankful I were here doing anything compared to living in the hellhole they came from. America - land of the newly landed ingrate expecting more than you earned here in a lifetime.
