Doug from Upland was just on Sean's show he was great. Defended Hannity and said there are a few freepers who need to get it together or something to that effect. Our mission as freepers to knock out Hillary according to Doug.

Again, thank you for adding something really good to this thread. It is a pleasure reading your positive words. We need more FReepers like you.

Look, I'm not trying to aggravate Sean...reread my posts if you're under that impression.

Why we've become obsessed with gaining his approval is puzzling and quite frankly, laughable.

The guy's undeniably an ally.

But he's just ONE GUY.

I'm not vilifying him, or Doug for goodness sakes. I just don't understand why we MUST have Sean saying positive things about FR to feel that FR's existence is justified.

You get a plug here. Tell us about it.

Actually, it doesn't quite fit in here. But thanks.

"What is Sean's specific beef with Freepers?"

I think it's the other way around.

Rush is the man. I like Sean but haven't listened to him lately - after the election I had to cut down on my radio/tv/freeping - I was brain dead.

Geez, Doug...you can't leave my posts alone, can you?

==============================================

No, I can't. I just feel honored that you take the time to come here without even being pinged and add your inspiring words of wisdom. You didn't have to come to this thread, but you took the time to do it. That's wonderful. I apologize for thinking you were a new FReeper, and I look forward to hearing more from you.

Evidently you don't get it. He's "just one guy" with an audience of 15 million people on radio and maybe another 5 mill on t.v. He's a heavy hitter and he's on our side.

If more FReepers like me means that everyone can form their own opinions about Sean Hannity, or anyone else, for that matter--then we agree.

Take a breath, Doug.

LOL

I just got back home and was unloading the car during most of the Jesus call. From the short amount I heard, I think the poor soul is lost.

Okay, and...?

I don't need any 'heavy hitters' endorsing a website I visit to feel validated.

Clearly, others here need approval--that's fine, too. I just want to be clear that I like FR and would visit if Sean said we're lower than worm dirt.

Make sense?

He's that guy that some people on this site hate so much that they can't avoid any thread posted about him just to get in some lame "I think he wrote a book" comment.

Well, I've written a book, and I do promote it.

I can agree as long as the promotions are appropriate to the venue and opportunity, as Sean's have been. I wouldn't promote my work by streaking during the Superbowl with the name of my book tattooed on my naked butt.

Then we do agree. You always seem to know the right place and time to say something. I know you would never do something like give a eulogy for someone and talk about what an SOB he had been all his life. You know proper decorum and you have class. It is a pleasure to share this forum with you.

I didn't really sell many copies that way...
