Florida is a packing state. I can think of some other (better) ways it might have ended.
Sounds like the .40 calibre solution would have worked splendidly. I'm always amazed at how people are real aggressive about flashing the finger and such if they don't agree with your bumper sticker or if you maybe changed lanes when you shouldn't have (Yes, I've done that and suspect a lot of others have, too). I smile and wave.
Do they ever stop to think that the person on the other end of their hostility might be carrying that Smith&Wesson "insurance"?
