So he couldn't bring himself to mention the misery of the Carter years, huh? I think there are a lot of us who would like to forget the Carter years
But we can't because it's still haunting us today

This show went from blasting Reagan and Bush 41, all the way to 9/11 in the span of one segment?!? WTH? The whole thing is nothing but Dan's self-anointed arrogance, condescension, and taking pot shots at Republicans and Conservatives. That is it in a nutshell.

I read a book recently called The Real Jimmy Carter. It was an eye opener about just how many dictators he has aligned himself with.
Even Time magazine is quoted in the book as saying that Carter dangerously skirts what we used to call treason.

*** On Hardball they're saying his leaving is making conservatives cheer tonight.***
So, in effect they are saying that conservatives are the only ones who care about truth in reporting. Works for me.

It's on my list of books to read
As for Carter ... I watched a PBS Documentary of him ... they talked about how he had a 25% approval rating as President .. BEFORE THE IRAN HOSTAGES

Ok...good..the 'figurehead' is now longer doing his talking head act and reading the evening news.
But it doesn't really matter since the people who supported him...who allowed him to spread the lies etc...are STILL in every news room on tv.
They will just find another talking head to do the same job as Rather.
Plus...I believe that Rather will STILL be doing something on CBS. TOO many Liberals still trust him.......

The only bright spot of this whole facade was the footage of Dan getting beaned at the 1968 DNC convention in Chicago.
