Thank you for this insight. Do you have, readily available, any sites that bear on that subject?

The prevalency of corruption in Mexican culture could still result in their passing through paying "customers" from Nations or national groups who intend to bring us grief and harm.

I was just there. We have friends with a home there and visit often. Just talk to any taxi driver, they will unload on you their frustration on the illegal's in their country coming from other poorer countries.

I was there during the election last month and that was a huge political issue to stop illegal immegration. Ironic

I don't see this site supporting Bush on this issue. I think this site leans more toward Rush on this. It is freepers supporting the private citizens protecting the borders of Arizona.

Thank you for the first-hand account.

I had heavily researched the Baja thinking of retirement but things didn't sound as rosy as were being painted by sellers. Then all ..broke loose and now glad we didn't "invest" there.

FR did a switch awhile back and seemed to me to drop conservative in favor of Republican, thinking they were synonymous, which they are not.

It still saddens me to remember how Conservative has been redefined far left of where it used to be (JFK administration, as an example).
