I'm listening. The press has been told a gazillion times the Pentagon won't be answering questions about the reporter who was shot. But they keep asking.
But a more money grubbing couple would be hard to find.

As another freeper noted, it will be both Bush's fault.
President Bush for even having the nerve to ask Clinton to serve at a time like this.
Former PResident Bush because he, who is in such good health he went sky jumping a few years ago, forced Clinton, who had major surgery, to sleep on the floor.
Just watch. Those are the words, exactly, that will be used.
i am sure he will get his just desserts, far be it from me to judge what they are.
It's looking possible that Gerald Ford will outlive Bill Clinton. I believe Herbert Hoover outlived JFK.
Pretty routine surgeries...these days.

I think you're onto something, PA MA.
She'll play the doting wife and get lots of press time and sympathy. He'll get lots of air time before and after the surgery, it'll be all Klintoons all the time in the MSM again. Look at this a.m. - the President gave a great, important speech and 15 minutes later they forget all about the speech and Lebbanon and focus on Bubba. Perhaps I'm being a bit cynical, but I can't help but question the timing of Bubba's news - they're media-savy people and it woulndn't surprised me if they planned to do it right after the Prez's speech so he wouldn't get much air time.
They'll blame Bush (probably both of them). What they won't say is that he was supposed to rest longer than he did after the surgery (remember everyone made a big deal about him getting up out of his bed to campaign for sKerry), his additional book tours, etc., etc., etc. After Bush announced appointing x42 and 41 I remember Bubba saying that he felt great and was looking forward to doing the fund raising for the victims. I hope his procedure is successful.
Maybe he should give up his new job at the UN - that might be too stressful on him.
I don't know the answer, but unless it's an emergency, I would imagine a few days, at least.
