"The school systems has hired hall monitors to keep the students moving."

Comfy job ...American kids lack discipline ...I teach in Japan ...No chime ; no monitors ...and the kids are in class on time ...

"The time to get from one class to the next has been increased from four minutes to six minutes."

"Bridgeport presses kids to move faster to class"

"faster" must have been redefined since I left school?

The time to get from one class to the next has been increased from four minutes to six minutes.

Goal: Get kids moving faster.
Solution: Give them more time to get from point A to point B

My high school had five floors and we had 4 minutes between classes. Going from 5th floor to 2nd was fun. Going from lunch on 1st floor to 5th, not so fun.

Ha, probably have about as much luck getting the traffic moving on 95 through Bridgeport. Slow for absolutely no good reason, or at least it was when I lived in New Haven.

When I was in high school (a very long time ago) you received three days off if you were tardy five times.

It made me wonder if they'd give me money to rob banks.
