The Boeing 747 is a great airframe design.
Those who knock and ridicule the 747 because of those engines being shutdown, need to stop blaming Boeing, and put the blame on the groundmantaince crews who worked on the plane, or the Jet Engine manufactures, not Boeing, Boeing only builds the Airframe of the 747, not the engines.
The engine manufactures are : Pratt&Whitney / G&E / British company ROLLS ROYCE .
The 747 is one of the best airframe designs ever built.
