I dunno about "son" but he is a family member. He is also one of the most phenomenal guitar players ever. I heard him do a gig with the Allman Brothers as a warmup act several years ago. He was 12 years old at the time, and I have NEVER heard better slide work on a guitar. He has just gotten better over the years. He is still a kid, but is a true virtuoso. He is also, sadly another example of why musicians should stick to music.

I think he is trying to say "Ray Charles was amazing and should be getting more recognition for his contributions." On that I agree. I am not for putting him on a 10 dollar bill. That would be silly.
