Just thought I would post this as a curiosity.
And btw, Yes, I still listen to Ray Charles.
You must admit,
The extremes people sometimes go through to gain attention is nuts.
Myself excluded of course.

It's only a matter of time before they start selling advertising space on the money.

Just what we need. A womanizing adulterer, heroin junkie, who only got into the music business because of the money on the $10 dollar bill. How about putting his bastard child on the $1 bill.

this is fine as long as you put the ramones on the 100 dollar bill seeing as they were ten times the musicians that ray charles was and did at least ten times the amount of heroin :-)

Some may view it as a serious petition.
The site makes a claim of 3,906 total signatures on the petition thus far.

Only if the U.S. Treasury Dept. agrees to replace Sacajawea with Mimi Farina as the image on the commemorative dollar coin.

Who is Mimi Farina?
Oh please don't let it be a reference to Stargate or any another show I don't watch.

The author of the article, "Derek Trucks?"
Isn't he the son of Allman Brothers' drummer Butch Trucks?
