It inspires me every time I think of them. I've known them for around 35 years, and they've been through VERY tough times. A good illustration that often the tough times are the ones that really help us spiritually, if we accept the hidden lesson. Or not so hidden - that God is the Master, I'm the servant; His job is to proctect me, and my job is to let Him; to open my heart to His will and His plan.

What happened with your friend illustrates the core of the issue, IMO. I haven't posted to any of the Terri threads as I found the entire situation too upsetting, weakness on my part I suppose. Who are we (humans) to decide to pull the plug on someone's life? I just can't fathom such.

Having been close to death's door myself, with the doctors saying I'm not going to make it, and then a full recovery, well, it does change your outlook. How they could allow the murder of Terri I will never understand or accept.
