The young gang bangers make beer runs at the local convenience stores on a regular basis.

Some of the Southwest reservervation boundaries are littered with booze bottles. Reckon tribal rules don't apply outside the reservation, unless there's involvement with non-tribal people in a motor vehicle accident outside those boundaries, unless things have changed since we lived near a reservation several years ago.

The cities of Chubbuck and Pocatello bear the burden of "native americans" from the reservation who choose to get drunk in city bars. The kids from the reservation engage in "beer runs" on the convenience stores. They wait until lated in the evening when there is only one clerk in the store. Hit and run theft of a couple 24 packs of beer.

A driver's license isn't required on the reservation. Many of the "native americans" venture off the reservation without a driver's license, insurance or valid car registration. It's a chronic problem.

There is a rather unpleasant cultural behavior in our local tribes. They are given to spitting on the police officers when taken into custody. The local officers affix a "spit hood" on detainees to avoid the nasty behavior.
