JERSEY CITY, N.J. - The upstairs neighbor of an Egyptian Christian family found slain in their home in January was charged Friday, along with another man, in the murders.
Edward McDonald, 25, who rented a second-floor apartment above Hossam Armanious and his family, pleaded not guilty to four counts of felony murder. Hamilton Sanchez, 30, faces the same charges and also pleaded not guilty.
Sanchez during a court hearing began crying as he stood before a judge, his hands cuffed behind his back.
"I didn't kill nobody. I didn't kill nobody, man. I didn't kill nobody, people," Sanchez said, as he was led from the courtroom. McDonald stared at the floor during the hearing.
Both men, who were on parole for different drug offenses, were ordered held on $10 million cash bail.
Authorities said Armanious, 47; his wife, Amal Garas, 37, and their children - Sylvia, 15, and Monica, 8 - were slain three days before their bodies were found Jan. 14.

So what? Am I supposed to be afraid of people disagreeing with me? If that were the case, I'd have bolted at your first challenge (which, by the way, I don't mind at all, I rather enjoy a stimulating debate, it is your lack of courtesy that I find unpleasant.) I am sure many here disagree with me on many topics..but that's ok, we aren't leftists, we don't have to walk in lockstep; I left that behind in Dummieland.
I suspect that most loyal Americans don't feel that they have to choose between God and America. And if they did, that choice is their business, isn't it? My opinion that our first loyalty should be to our country is just that--an opinion. You and anyone else on this forum are free to jump right in and disagree with that opinion. You can go first, have at it.
You might want to take a page from Gondring's book--he does not agree with me, but he is a gentleman about it and doesn't resort to name calling and insult.
You don't even know the meaning of female genital mutilation. The muslims don't just cut the clitoris off, they cut it OUT, if your feeble brain can grasp that.
They also remove the lips of the labia. It's an absolutely horrible procedure during which many young girls die.
This is far removed from circumcision for males or females.
Maybe a cold wet frog has more love in it's tiny little mind than there is love in the entire koran and the 62 or so volumes of hadith.
Why? Because (methinks) a parasitic nomadic desert culture such as mohammad stemmed from didn't have much use for loving kindness; they survived for millenia by driving their camels, sheep and goats into the fields of the agriculturalists, leaving the population of entire city-states to die of starvation. (Those whom they didn't kill or take captive, that is.)
Love's got nothing to do with it, they were/are arabs.
But Islam doesn't permit innovation or correction or examination (bidah).

Well, TEN MILLION dollars bail should hold them long enough to gather evidence.
And evidence is what is needed for a conviction. (I hope!)

Ten million is far and above what would be asked even in a case as evil as this. Even at half that, 5 mil bail would be considered excessive. If they are worried about flight-they would just remand. I asked a NYPD friend (former JCPD) of mine why the high bail for 'druggies' and he said the JCPD and the Prosec. office is doing all they can to keep these guys in custody because they wouldn't "last 10 seconds on the outside". This is not the threat of an enraged populace. The perps are also asking to be kept in protective custody, and apparently not just because two of the victims are children.

Most Christians would choose Christ above Washington, dont' you think? Asked to decide between their faith and their country, many people would choose their faith. That was one of the reasons for so much mistrust of Catholics in America--they were seen as having loyalty to the Pope over America.
