A distraught mother, dressed in black, stares into a TV camera and declares, "I smashed the terrorist" with a shoe. "He killed my son." The camera then focuses on the alleged murderer, Mohammed Adnan, who is facing the grieving woman and her sobbing grandson.

The professional-looking videotapes, which began airing recently on the government-owned Iraqia television network, are among the most dramatic in an ongoing series of insurgent "confession" videos that have galvanized Baghdad. The one-hour tapes are a sort of reality TV program whose aim is to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people. Aired twice a day, they serve as a counterpoint to the now-familiar images shot by insurgents of cowering hostages and beheadings. They are also a centerpiece of an intense government campaign designed to convince an edgy population that the fledgling Iraqi government and its hard-hit security forces are making Iraq safer.

I just heard on FoxNews, that the latest suicide bomber in Iraq was chained to the car.

I guess they are running out of people who are willing to murder and die for no reason.

Looks like once they get them, they are willing to talk.

That combined with finding the latest suicide bomber chained to the car leads me to believe that quite of few of tthe terrorists are being coerced, which means that there is NOT an "infinite supply" of them, as some feared.

We are definitely winning.

I think they showed a clip of Gen. Abizaid, and the General said that, in the last suicide car bombing, they found the "suicide bomber" terrorist chained to the car.


Sounds like he was not anxious to commit suicide -- maybe they threatened his family and he figured he may jump out at the last minute, so they made sure he couldn't.

Looks like they are running out of willing terrorists.

We are winning sooner, than anyone expected.

Read the entire article -- they had the terrorist on TV, and the woman recognized him, as the "policeman" (he was NOT a real policeman, just put on a uniform), who came to their door and took away her son.

The terrorist confessed, that it was indeed he, who did it.

Thank goodness this is being presented to the Iraquis. The insurgents are trying to destroy any possibility for a good future for Iraq. They are not noble resistance fighters -- they are criminals. I hope this rallies the Iraquis to zero tolerance for insurgents.

Speaking of the Bush Doctrine concerning the step by step strategy against Islamic terrorist supporting rouge states. If you think about, Afghanistan was the weakest pro-jihad 'government', also behind 9-11 through al-Qa'ida, loaded with old Soviet air bases and right on Iran's elongated eastern border. Saddam Ba'athist regimé was next, positioned on Iran oil rich western border and Syria's western border.

Due to Kerry & the liberal mass media the President deliberately avoided the topic of Iran, Syria and Lebanon prior to the election. I believe the long range goal was always to surround the main instigator of state sponsored terror attacks, Iran, in the process of key geostrategic moves, while dismantling rouge states involved with radical Islam's, Terrorist Inc.
