I remember watching Robinson Crusoe on Mars in the Belle Meade Theatre in Nashville as a youngster. When the scene shows that the slave no longer has on his tracking bracelet the whole theatre cheered.
I remember watching Robinson Crusoe on Mars in the Belle Meade Theatre in Nashville as a youngster. When the scene shows that the slave no longer has on his tracking bracelet the whole theatre cheered.I saw it when it first came out in a small-town movie theater in Arkansas; as it was a matinee, most of the kids were too busy throwing Milk Duds and running up and down the aisles to notice what was actually happening on screen.
I've rarely failed to see it when it has appeared on TV--I think it's highly under-rated and needs to be released on a good wide-screen DVD version.
