It decided in November 2004 that vitamins, minerals and all other types of medicinally useful supplements, commonly also found in foods, should be traded only as pharmaceuticals. Freemarketeers want to privatize the Mother Nature. Soon we will not be allowed to breath without paying a fee to some corporation.

According to my pharmaceutical chemist wife, the herbal drug manufacturing process is long overdue for some oversight.
The quality control performed at most plants that produce OTC herbal drugs do not meet what she considers minimal requirements (she runs a very tight QC ship though).

Are you suggesting that somehow the U.N. enforcing rules that no but the U.N. agrees with is either a "Free Market" or "Privatization"?
