Oh yes, he was a very good kid. Now they can pull out his 4th grade picture, like the one they used for that 13 yr. old gangbanger in LA who nearly rant over police in a stolen car and was shot in progress of a dangerous felony.

The cop saved lives. He'll be punished for it.

Miller was a good kid who checked up on his grandmother and stayed off the streets. Oh, well, then the cops should have disregarded his other reckless and dangerous behaviors. He was such a good boy (and Hitler liked puppies, I've heard).

"Relatives said Miller was a good kid who checked up on his grandmother and stayed off the streets.""He wasn't that kind of kid. He was a good kid," said family spokeswoman Joelle Cornelius."
Naturally...

Then he returned and drove through the campus and its outdoor corridors, police said. Students were dodging his car.

Sure did stay off the streets, was on the sidewalks!

And if the cop hadn't shot...and the kid killed 5 or so of his classmates, the parents would already have hired a lawyer to sue the police department..

Teenager wounded by Delray officer in shooting outside danceA 16-year-old Atlantic High School student who was at the school's gate said he saw the teenager driving up and down the street.
Then, the student said, the driver "came in the gate and was stopped by the police. The police said, 'Let me see your license.'."
At that point, the student said, the driver pulled off, swerving, and police fired at the car. He said the car was pulling away when police fired. He said he heard two shots.
The driver, who was alone in the car, was turning down a courtyard -- chasing people out of the path of the car -- when he was hit, and the car crashed, the student said.

One way or the other, there's a LOT more to this story.

''He wasn't that kind of kid. He was a good kid,'' said family spokeswoman Joelle Cornelius. Delray Full Service Center is an alternative school for students with discipline problems.
Yeah, they're always such good kids.

Oooo, that made me so mad! Surely, there was a more recent pic of that guy than the one in the cap and gown when he was about 9.

What are the odds that this child is from a broken home? If we find out that both his parents were losers, then they should be held accountable also. It is one thing to try to be a good parent and then your kid goes off the deep end, it is quite another when neither parent is around or gives a damn.

Sounds to me like an AH Barney Fife instead of a bad kid. Fired "A" shot to stop the car. My ASS. Police are trained to say "Stop the action."
To: OXENinFLA
It's time for someone to pipe up that "Any cop that can't disarm a 16 year old boy without shooting shouldn't be on the force."
To: KC_Conspirator
"and was shot in progress of a dangerous felony"
Reckless driving is generally not a felony... And why not just shoot the tires? Shooting the driver, it seems to me, is not the best way to safely stop a car. The car could take off at top speed with nobody steering while the driver died.

I thought I was the only person who caught that. That pic is WAY outdated. I knew they are probably hiding pics of this "child" flashing gang signs with his hands.
