Actually the petition is likely just a gnat or a flea that's aggravating but he doesn't see as a threat. I think DCF is a tick that ain't gonna let go and the dog is gonna scratch and try to get it off but it's not going anywhere.
Realistically I don't know if the petition will cause the House to impeach but it's sure going to let them know that the consequences of their action or inaction is being watched all over the world. People are commenting that they don't want to retire some place where they could be put to death.
I thought this piece of legislation would include Terri. ??
Governor Jeb Bush says he supports legislation that would prohibit the withdrawal of nutrition and hydration from a patient, unless that person has a written directive stating that doing so is okay.
The proposed law has been filed in Tallahassee by Representative Dennis Baxley. But he's not sure if the plan could be retroactive to include the case of Terri Schiavo.
Governor Bush says he plans to talk to Baxley about the bill next week when the spring legislative session starts.

Please speak to his breaking with the Pope. That his washing his hands of it is not unlike Pilot. That he MUST act now that he knows of Michael Shiavo's lifestyle, ask if he knows of the bone scans that indicate Terri was abused, ask if he knows that Terri responds, ask if he has EVER used his voice to HELP TERRI's parents, tell him you will write the Vatican, that the POPE needs to know more about this case and Bishop Lynch's FAILURE to act as a Man of God. Tell Bishop Lynch that he leaves a retired priest, ALONE, without support, to handle this incredible burden.
Remind him that the world is watching, that his friendship with Greer, or his lawfirms friendship has not gone unnoticed.
This is NOT political. This is spiritual. And this is about LIFE AND DEATH.
If he has been listening to the wrong people ( probably his attorneys) he now knows a little of the flip side, only an INKLING, and he needs to ACT.
He has a responsibility to work for life. His press release was the stuff of cowardice and corruption.
