[me]Her mother is teaching her, the best way she can. She has said she is not a speech therapist, but that Terri is starting to try and speak. She said that she feels like Terri has mastered the "I". So, Terri is obviously trying to repeat her mothers words.

I assumed you meant she wasn't saying any words, when you said she could not say HELP or I LOVE YOU. Are you saying then, that you believe the nurses that Terri has said some words?
