I hate to say it, but they had cheap, very cheap attorneys in this case.I disagree. The Schindlers had to fight with what they had. I don't think a hundred legal eagles could have touched the stone "heart" of George W. Greer. That man is clearly a Judas in Republican and Baptist clothing. And from what we have seen in this tragic affair, I see little redeeming potential in the FL appeals courts and Supreme Court either. So, "It's not the lawyer for the Schindlers: it's George W. Greer!"

So, "It's not the lawyer for the Schindlers: it's George W. Greer!" If the Schindlers had good legal help early on, they would have avoided being blindsided by the Schiavo Triumvirate. It is possible to legally overcome a biased judge, but it's extremely difficult and there's really only one chance. I can't really blame the Schindlers for failing to overcome Greer early on when they had the chance, because they probably had no way of knowing his level of bias until it was too late.
