It is my understanding that the judge's order setting the beginning of the execution by starvation to be March 18 1 p.m. would be legally binding on whoever might replace Michael Schiavo as "guardian". The order didn't give permission to begin killing the innocent person; it mandated that it will happen. Perhaps others more versed in these kinds of cases can clarify. A new guardian would certainly be able to have done the tests that Monster Schiavo has refused. And if Terri could receive liquid orally, the feeding tube issue would be irrelevant.
