It was 1982. Wouldn't Terri have been 18? (A minor point that doesn't really matter.)
I believe it does matter, because Greer MISTAKINGLY thought Terri was around 11 or 12 when she made the remark about Quinlin to her friend, when she was actually an adult.
I take this to mean that Greer based his ruling on the fact that Terri was a minor when talking with her friend, when she was actually an adult.
