TERRI SCHIAVO MARCH 2005 DAILIES Fla's Til of the Hun Sets March Date to Starve Terri
Terri's Fight, The Empire Journal, World Net Daily, Life News ^ | February 28, 2005 | floriduh voter

Terri's Freepers,

Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

What can we do?

1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI

2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.

3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.

6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.

7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.

8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.

9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Terri's family is grateful to you and all of your prayers are being heard by the Giver of Life.

This is Terri's Fight and the battle is enjoined. JOIN US TO SAVE TERRI FROM FORCES THAT HAVE BUT ONE GOAL THAT IS AGAINST EVERYTHING AMERICAN.

GUIDELINES: If you want to start frivolous discussions, please start your own thread in chat.

I'll post all the Republican Phone numbers tomorrow and we can ask them WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO TOSS GEORGE GREER OVERBOARD because he's not worth it. He's Hitler's favorite, long lost nephew. I have the NATIONAL GOP PHONE NUMBER, THE FLORIDA GOP PHONE NUMBER AND THE PINELLAS COUNTY GOP PHONE NUMBER WHICH IS 727-539-6009. (they aren't allowed to yell at us any more if we call and say we support Terri Schiavo and JEB BUSH.)

A House Judiciary Committee is scheduled on this action tomorrow, Wednesday - March 16, 2005.

Congress makes last-minute try to save Schiavo http://www.insightmag.com/news/2005/03/14/National/Congress.Makes.LastMinute.Try.To.Save.Schiavo-893700.shtml

THE WASHINGTON TIMES A group of House and Senate Republicans are working hard to approve a new law as soon as possible that would provide one last shot at federal court review for Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman whose food and water will be stopped Friday by state court order.

"We're fighting a clock," said Sen. Mel Martinez, who introduced the legislation last week, along with fellow Florida Republican Rep. Dave Weldon.

Under the bill, Mrs. Schiavo -- who is incapacitated and has been the center of a bitter legal battle for years between her husband and her parents -- would be granted a chance at federal habeas corpus review, typically only used to review death-row cases before an execution.

Freepers, please listen up. This is just my opinion, but I firmly believe that Rush would like to speak up in defense of Terri Schiavo, but can't on account of a conflict of interest with his own legal troubles in the Sunshine State. If Rush opines about a Florida law that his own lawyers are fighting (or promoting), that could be thrown in his face in a Florida courtroom. Rush's brother has written strongly in defense of Terri, so perhaps we should let that be all we need to hear from the Limbaughs for now. Rush has been such a force for good that we should all give him a pass on this one. Again, I believe he'd speak out of he could.

"Rush really can't talk about Terri Schiavo without touching on laws that he himself has been wrestling with. I think anything he says about courts, judges, laws, etc. in Florida could negatively impact his own case."

That didn't occur to me. That very well could be the reason Rush isn't discussing Terri's case. Seems like he could at least mention her and weigh in on the case without going in to a lot of detail though.

blocked, praise God and all the Saints!!! PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY (and please sneak a prayer in for me - struggling with a depressing and debilitating dilemma -- many thanks ;-)

Rest of the article--

Congress makes last-minute try to save Schiavo
By Amy Fagan

THE WASHINGTON TIMES

A group of House and Senate Republicans are working hard to approve a new law as soon as possible that would provide one last shot at federal court review for Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman whose food and water will be stopped Friday by state court order.

The bill would allow federal courts -- in limited cases such as Mrs. Schiavo's -- to expand habeas corpus review to incapacitated people who are the subject of a family dispute, have no previous written directive and are the subject of a lower court order to stop their food and water.

Mrs. Schiavo suffered cardiac arrest and brain damage in 1990, rendering her incapacitated. Since then, her husband, Michael, has been trying to have her feeding tube removed, arguing that his wife would not want to live in a vegetative state. A state court ruled late last month that he can do so on Friday.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Tennessee Republican, wants to move the bill "as quickly as we can." He plans to try to bring it up for consideration on the Senate floor this week, skipping the committee process.

In the House, supporters are pushing for quick action as well.

But, House Judiciary Committee Chairman F. James Sensenbrenner Jr., Wisconsin Republican, has scheduled a hearing on the bill for Wednesday, indicating that, at least for now, he wants to follow normal procedure.

The long legal battle over Mrs. Schiavo's future has resulted in differing state court rulings. In 2003, her feeding tube was removed under a ruling by Florida Circuit Court Judge George Greer, but reinserted six days later after the Florida legislature passed emergency legislation called "Terri's Law" that granted Gov. Jeb Bush the right to intervene. The Florida Supreme Court has since declared the law unconstitutional, and the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case.

Late last month, Judge Greer again ruled that Mr. Schiavo can remove his wife's feeding tube, ceasing food and water starting Friday.

But Washington lawmakers are still hoping their effort works.

"Our Constitution guarantees that no life will be taken without due process of law and guarantees equal protection under the law," Mr. Weldon said. "We need to make sure that these protections are clearly available to the disabled and incapacitated."

Mr. Martinez acknowledges that it will be tough to pass a bill in one week, especially as a newly elected senator. A spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said he hasn't taken a position on the bill yet, but said it clearly should go through the normal committee process.

I think this subject is one that it wouldn't be possible to raise and drop quickly. If a listener calls in, Rush has to respond, which means Rush would have little control over where the conversation goes. I'll be this lawyers have said, "Don't touch the Schiavo case."

Greer has a goon squad. If I see a black SUV outside my place, I'll have to make a note in my jr. detective notebook and then call the Tampa Secret Service.

It certainly sounds like an exciting community to live in floriduh voter!

Rush has literally beaten back the slimey and stinking tide of unchecked and out of control liberalism in the mainstream American media.

Thank God for Rush! He annihilates liberals and democrats and destroys their preposterous and ridiculous socialist schemes at will and with ease. Long live El Rushbo! He is the KING of conservatism!

...and the liberals and democrats HATE him and FEAR him!

INVESTIGATING MEDICAID-MEDICARE FRAUD (Greer)

I have dealt with the Medicaid system some and I have never understood how Terri has been housed in the facility she is presently staying. You have to prove you are almost broke before you qualify for this service. Terri would qualify for Medicare, under disability, but this would not pay for the facility where she is presently staying. The state of Fla. may have different laws.

Do you think the corruption has been swept under the rug because it could destroy the Pinellas Co. Republican Party?

I do. Which is why I wish Florida Republicans would look at the Illinois GOP to see where they're headed if they don't shape up.

FV, This sounds like what the Demos Did at their Convention. They put the protesters in a cage under the train tracks.

THIS IS A TOTAL OUTRAGE. WHO IS RUNNING THE POLICE IN CLEARWATER???

ANSWER --- FELOS

Not only are they trying to Murder Terri, they are taking away FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION NOW. THEY DON'T WANT THE MEDIA TO SEE TERRI. Now they don't want the MEDIA TO SEE THE TERRI SUPPORTERS.

I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS THIS OUTRAGE. DO YOU ALL KNOW THEY KILLED A 5 MONTH OLD BABY IN TEXAS TODAY AGAINST HIS MOM'S WISHES.

THE TEXAS COURT GRANTED THE HOSPITAL THE ***RIGHT**** TO PULL THE BABY'S RESPIRATOR. I can't help but wonder, why they picked this week to do that to the baby. After all the HOSPITAL HAS BEEN TRYING TO DO THIS FOR SOMETIME.

When will we be SPEAKING GERMAN?

If anyone has two seconds to pop a thank you over to Representative Dennis Baxley, I've set up a temporary guest book here: http://www.zimp.org/guest.html.

I know we are all very busy right now, but this guy worked like Superman to get things happening on both sides.

I'll print these out in a day or so and send them to him. Speaking as a Floridian, I'm mighty thankful for the guy.

Thank you for the thought, atruelady!

"Good one to put Ted on notice.

If he fails this issue as a journalist, he can join
the ranks of disgraced journalists like Rather."

The DISGRACED JOURNALIST CLUB does seem to be growing and growing.

Even though the show is taped, everyone who contacts ABC is doing the work Ted should have done before interviewing MS.

FREEPERS ARE THE BEST!!

I, too, would like to see Scoop win the PULITZER. But, like Mel Gibson, she already has won the biggest and best prize. Just when I was starting to believe there were no more real journalists in America.
