TERRI SCHIAVO MARCH 2005 DAILIES Fla's Til of the Hun Sets March Date to Starve Terri
Terri's Fight, The Empire Journal, World Net Daily, Life News ^ | February 28, 2005 | floriduh voter

Terri's Freepers,

Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.

What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.

Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.

If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.

A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.

Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.

What can we do?

1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI

2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.

3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.

4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.

7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.

8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.

9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.

Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Terri's family is grateful to you and all of your prayers are being heard by the Giver of Life.

This is Terri's Fight and the battle is enjoined. JOIN US TO SAVE TERRI FROM FORCES THAT HAVE BUT ONE GOAL THAT IS AGAINST EVERYTHING AMERICAN.

GUIDELINES: If you want to start frivolous discussions, please start your own thread in chat.

If you like something from www.theempirejournal.com, please do not post the entire article at Free Republic. Unless I hear otherwise, I believe that we are allowed to post the title and link. $1M Offer Won't End Tube Fight
An effort to entice feeding-tube-dependent Terri Schiavo's husband into abandoning his authority to oversee her care has ended with a firm "no" from Schiavo.

The lesson of Schiavo's life

Countless news stories and broad cast hours have been dedicated to the heartbreaking spectacle swirling around what is left of Terri Schiavo's life, but there is seldom any mention of how she ended up in a vegetative state in 1990.

Terri Schiavo was a beautiful 26-year-old woman slowly starving herself to death.

I my posted e-mail to Jeb, I said that it is reported he believes he lacks constitutional power to take on a judicial ruling. I said I did not know if the report is correct, but he should ask himself this...if Jeb is bound by Greer's order, then are the various citizens who must take action to carry out his kill order, likewise bound? Or as I put it, if Jeb were one of these citizens...a doctor, a nurse, a hospice employee or whatever, would he feel bound to carry out the order, or would he refuse? What do you think, FV? I think it is a very valid question. If the governor is bound, wouldn't the facilitators be bound? And if they can refuse an order to torture and kill, as the priests are asking them, why not the Governor? Can we not all ask him this question? I think it is a question SCREAMING for an answer. Because my best guess is that Jeb has been advised by legal staff that he does not have constitutional power to go counter to a judge's order.

Religious Services for Terri Schiavo

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/news/31405-schiavo.html

WARMINSTER, Pa. (AP) _Mar. 14, 2005 — Religious services are being held this morning in suburban Philadelphia on behalf of a Florida woman at the center of a contentious right-to-die case.
Roman Catholic priests will lead prayers at Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster for graduate Terri Schiavo, the Huntingdon Valley native at the center of a legal battle over whether to remove feeding tubes that have kept her alive for 15 years.

Some are trying to prevent Friday's court-ordered removal of the tubes. Bob and Mary Schindler doubt their daughter had end-of-life wishes and have fought their son-in-law in court for nearly seven years. They dispute that she is in a vegetative state, saying she laughs, cries, interacts with them and tries to speak.

Doctors say Schiavo, who graduated from Archbishop Wood in 1981, is in a persistent vegetative state. They say any movements or sounds she makes are coincidental and not a result of consciousness. Her husband, Michael Schiavo, contends his wife would not want to be kept alive artificially.

My name is Ted Hires and I am President and founder of the Justice Coalition, a victim’s right's organization in Jacksonville, FL. It is our mission to aid victims in obtaining justice.

After a thorough review of Terri Schiavo’s case and seeking the opinion of legal counsel, I have concluded that Terri Schiavo is most certainly a victim.

There is a very real possibility that an act of domestic violence caused Terri’s present condition. On February 28th, I called a press conference on the steps of the Federal Courthouse in Jacksonville with the Schindler family and many other public officials.

On that day, 2 weeks ago, I asked Governor Jeb Bush to appoint a special prosecutor and the FDLE to investigate the origin of Terri’s collapse and also the numerous ongoing violations of Florida law which protect the rights of disabled citizens.

I have submitted this request in writing as Gov. Bush’s spokesman requested, and the Justice Coalition is waiting for his response. The public has a right to know the truth regarding these criminal allegations and until they are investigated we will not know the answers.

Terri Schiavo has never received the rehabilitation her husband swore under oath to provide her. Michael Schiavo obtained over 1.5 million dollars as the result of a medical malpratic lawsuit.

Instead, Schiavo used the money earmarked for Terri’s medical trust to hire attorneys to end her life by starvation and dehydration.

Contrary to published reports, Terri Schiavo has not been given a swallowing test or medical rehabilitation since 1992. She has been held hostage in a nursing home and a hospice where she has spent the last 5 years.

Terri has been left for years to stare out a window, and more recently a darkend room, with the blinds closed as her parents fight to get her back so they can give her the proper care and medical attention.

This is clearly a violation of FL.S. 744.3215. Judge George Greer refuses to make the guardian, Michael Schiavo, comply with Florida law.

In violation of federal and state guidelines, Terri has been held hostage in a home for the dying, even though she is neither terminal nor dying. This deliberate omission by the mainstream media is a national disgrace.

The right to life is protected under the U.S. Constitution and has been fought and paid for in blood, down thru the ages from our Founding Fathers to this present day and is an inalienable right. This court ordered starvation death is no less than judicial homicide.

Terri has not been permitted outside except in emergency transport in over 5 years.

Under Florida law, if an animal were treated this way, you would be arrested and put in jail.

Under Florida law it is illegal to starve a barnyard animal or a convicted felon, as it would consitute cruel and unusual punishment. The state does not treat death row inmates this inhumanely.

We saw last Thursday, Judge Greer blocked by court order, the DCF, a state agency, from investigating the allegations of ongoing criminal abuse against Terri Schiavo by her guardian. Judge Greer's ruling violated the Separation of Powers Doctrine, which protects all 3 branches of government from encroachment.

Former Schindler attorney, Pat Anderson, requested an investigation into this abuse 2 years ago. Chief Counsel, Frank Nagatani, for the DCF, told her “that the supervisors in the region had looked at the case, but simply were not going to get involved.”

When Judge Greer states that these allegations have been investigated and the DCF found no abuse, this is a lie. In fact, we find that when Judge Greer had the other DCF notes and complaint sealed 2 years ago, he again obstructed justice for Terri by preventing the court to enter this information into the record.

Also, in violation of Florida law and judicial canon, Judge Greer has acted as the judge and Terri's guardian ad litem in an adversarial proceeding. This is statutorily prohibited and also a denial of due process.

With this in mind, we ask the Legislature and Judiciary Committee which meets tomorrow, as well as the Health and Family Council, which meets Tuesday, to act swiftly to prevent this injustice by enacting HB 701 into law.

Additionally, we ask the Senate to move immediately with the companion bill S2128 sponsored by Senator Steve Wise. In any event, we request Gov. Bush, by Executive order, to send the FDLE on Friday to Woodside Hospice to prevent the removal of Terri’s feeding tube, which would cause her an agonizing and painful death.

It will also destroy the only living piece of evidence into how and why Terri's bone scan reveals that she has a "history of trauma."

We ask that until all the criminal allegations have been thoroughly investigated, that Governor Bush take Terri into protective custody under Chapter 415.1051 of the Florida statutes.

I ask Florida lawmakers to contemplate Terri Schiavo’s life when they receive this rose. What will happen to this flower if it is deprived of water?

I believe that Terri Schiavo is the Ultimate Victim and therefore deserves the Ultimate protection.

FV SAYS: The Brand New Summary above TELLS THE TRUTH AS WELL. Take that, trolls.....

To me there is great deal of difference between “living” and “being alive.”
If “living” consists of the life one possesses, then “being alive” constitutes having a heartbeat, and I personally put a great deal more emphasis on the former than the latter.

I know. I have contacted my representatives and urged their support for the bill. I am just saying this is a good question to put to Jeb, if he has been ill-advised by his legal staff. Maybe it will force him to re-think, if everyone asks him if a Florida citizen has the obligation or not of carrying out Greer's order to torture and kill. Either Floridians must obey this order, or there are valid reasons for disobeying it, and that would include Jeb.

And here I go again - repeat info for those who just joined us:

Let's all e-mail AND call Governor Bush, and ask him to have Forida's Department of Children and Family Services take Terri into protective custody.

There are three branches of government, and they are equal.

I e-mailed him yesterday and called him today.

Also, Glenn Beck just said that he has $100,000 in pledges for Terri. Details on GlennBeck.com

It's murder ... that's the ugly truth http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=43283

Do you hear it? I do. The countdown clock is ticking – the zero hour is 1 p.m. EST, March 18 ... five days from today.

On that day, a young woman in Florida will begin being murdered by the judiciary. It appears no one can stop it. Now that's power.

On that day, the tube supplying food and water to an infirm young woman, Terri Schiavo, will be removed. It will be done for just one purpose: to kill her. To end her life.

Her father, Robert Schindler, calls it "judicial homicide." It's more than that.

If Terri's feeding tube is removed and she dies, it will be a permanent stain on the honor of this country and our system of law. It is a fact that we deliberately, legally, kill unborn children for reasons that have nothing to do with the child or its condition.

With the case of Terri Schiavo, the door to legally eliminating "the imperfect" among us has been opened. If Terri dies – as the Florida court is ordering, as her husband-in-name-only demands, as his euthanasia-supporter attorney argues – there isn't one of us who will ever be safe from the system.

It will set legal precedent making it possible and legally permissible for any medical personnel, any hospital or other institution, any lawyer, judge or lawmaker to decide it's time for us to die.

They will let it happen, or make it happen – makes no difference. The only thing that matters is that someone else decides your fate, the fate of your children, spouse, parents, siblings, family member, neighbor or anyone else.

When I say "decides your fate," I mean that in the most permanent sense. They'll decide who should live or die, on their timetable. They'll do it by refusing treatment or stopping treatment. It already happens every day, without any publicity and very often against the wishes of family. Medical people and institutions get away with it secretly or by intimidation. It's that power again.

The ugly truth is, it's murder. The other ugly truth is there's often nothing you can do about it. If Terri Schiavo is killed, murder of the innocent will be locked in the law.

Screaming feminists are always at the ready with their mouths and their marching when it comes to "women's rights." Terri Schiavo is a woman with a two-timing husband who has treated her negligently for 15 years and wants her dead. Where are the feminists?

Bleeding hearts hold candlelight vigils to prevent the execution of condemned murderers, regardless the heinousness of the crimes. Terri Schiavo committed no crime; she fell victim to some unknown malady or unexplained injury and is now an impaired human being who, on court order, will be killed by neglect – removal of food and water. Where are the bleeding hearts?

Human-rights activists condemn the United States for our capital punishment laws and for allegations concerning prison treatment. They march and demonstrate and rail. Terri Schiavo has been refused therapy, medical treatment, proper equipment, even walks outside and now she is to be starved and dehydrated to death, on court order. Where are the human-rights activists?

Churches preach and teach about the sanctity of life, the rights of the innocent, of kindness to the infirm, of gentleness for the afflicted. Terri Schiavo is alive and breathes on her own. She is not sick but she is infirm, having suffered brain damage from some unknown cause. She needs only food and water to survive, no more than any other human being on this planet. The system has decided she will die – that her food and water will be stopped. Where are the churches?

The media consistently take the side of the downtrodden, the have-nots, the poor. They pride themselves on presenting the "truth" with "no bias." They report Terri is vegetative, in a coma, has no consciousness, had anorexia, had a heart attack, had a chemical imbalance, and really, really wanted to die. None of this is true. Most ignore the story. If newspapers do carry it, it's a tiny throwaway buried deep in the paper. Where are the media?

The law is supposed to deal with justice; is supposed to be impartial; is supposed to protect the helpless and innocent. Terri Schiavo has been denied treatment and therapy, which might improve her physical condition. The judge ignores that.

Tests could better evaluate her condition. The judge refuses them.

There are x-rays that show Terri suffered major physical trauma. The judge refuses to allow them into evidence.

Every single petition filed by Terri's family has been denied by Judge George Greer for 8 years. This week, he denied a request by the state of Florida to investigate allegations of abuse. Last week, he denied a petition by her parents to allow Terri to be divorced. He is supposed to be acting in Terri's interest, yet he has never seen her and has just one position: Terri Schiavo will be starved and dehydrated to death. It could take as long as 15 gruesome days for her to die. Where is justice?

When a couple marries, each hopes to trust the other. Terri's husband Michael was alone with her when her "incident" happened 15 years ago in their apartment, cutting off oxygen, leaving her brain damaged an unable to swallow.

He won nearly $2 million in lawsuits, but spent virtually all of it on legal efforts to stop feeding her so she'll die. He says she wouldn't want to live that way, but it's only his word. Heresay.

If Terri got therapy so she could speak again, perhaps she could tell the world what she would want. Of course, she might also be able to tell the world what happened that night that left her crippled.

Terri's priest wants to visit and administer communion. Her husband threatens the priest with arrest. Her parents want to visit and take pictures with her. Her husband requires a policeman be present and forbids photographs.

He refuses to divorce her so Terri can be home with her parents. He refuses all their requests, including that she be buried in a Catholic ceremony if she dies. He demands immediate cremation.

He hasn't said when he will marry his "fiancee" by whom he has two children. Infidelity to the nth degree, but he maintains he is Terri's loving husband. His "fiancee" is either brave or stupid – time will tell.

The real bravery is that of Terri's parents and siblings. They have fought for her for 15 years, trying to save her life, spending every cent they have trying to buck what clearly is a corrupt legal system in Florida. How they've managed, I cannot comprehend except they are blessed.

Terri Schiavo needs our help. This is not mercy killing. She is not a vegetable. She is not brain dead. She is a damaged human being, but she is human. If we ignore that or pretend that because she is "damaged," she has no value and it's OK to kill her, we are no better than the Nazis who picked and chose who would live or die.

We fought a world war to stop that mentality. We must not fall victim now.
