Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?
1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI
2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.
3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.
4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.
5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.
6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

While the host was talking with Bobby , MS brother Bryan called in and started running his mouth!
Just got back and heard on the same station a clip from their interview with MS.
MS said people better wake up, Big Brother is going to tell them what to do. Big Brother is going to make you get a feeding tube whether you want one or not!!
Yep, maybe someone ought to email him and make that part of the agreement! No sedatives!

Quite some time ago when the issue of Terri came up (I forgot what show, might have been Greta's), Gloria Allred supported keeping the feeding tube for Terri, said better to err on side of life since there is no way of undoing the other choice. Seemed she said she was urged to have her father's(?) tube removed and she rejected that.
Thanks, I eventually caught it. I'm glad you pinged me to the answer, because these days I haven't been able to read everything on these threads, especially this one.
Sure sounds to me like the Schiavo brothers have ego problems. Need to threaten to keep people in line. No wonder Terri was afraid of Michael.

I decided to try and find info about 'not giving a feeding tube' to a patient. Something I was curious about since The 3 Euthan-eers are insistent about having Terri's feeding tube removed and not just ceasing the feeding.
If someone will die sooner if they don't receive tube feedings, then the $$$ to the hospice wouldn't be as much if the patient's life span is shortened.

Some strange comments in this are :
1 "people receiving tube feedings may not be able to avail themselves of hospice services."
2.If the family chooses not to insert a feeding tube, the patient and family may have decided that this person is in the final stages of the illness, and that they are now willing to allow death to occur. This decision does not mean “starving someone to death.”
3. IV hydration can prolong dying rather than prolong living.
It seems to me that they are as evil as the abortionist who says it's just tissue, it's not a baby. They are accepted as experts because they work in places where people die so their word is gospel? It seems obvious to me that not feeding someone "IS" starving them.
Why would a feeding tube prevent a person from entering a hospice?
I do believe that there is something else Felos is working toward.
If people aren't going to be in hospice as long if they don't have a feeding tube then the issue is really the advancement of euthanasia.

"I don't know what's going on in that heart and mind of Terri, can she see light, can she feel? Does she understand that the man she married is ready to let her die in a very terrible way.
"I believe in every fiber of my being that there is a person there, there's a soul there, there's something of worth, that we should protect from death, and we should not hasten her death.
