Honest to goodness, this is the worst one I have ever seen; the women aren't even pretty, the clothes are horrible, the men are all metros, the songs are dreadful.......just horrible.

It would be better if they kept politics in their art. OK you have these left wing beliefs...but you're in an industry where you can express yourself through IT. Why step OUTSIDE of that medium? It makes no sense.
To: Petronski
It was actually written by Hollywood 10 member Michael Wilson, who didn't get credit as the blacklist was still in effect. Nothing like a communist screenwriter to screw up history.

Tony Randell's father served in the British navy, and was my parent's handy man. I had the occasion once of visiting his home for his father's birthday, and the planet of the apes statue was in his backyard. Joan Rivers was there too. I was not particularly impressed. I was above all of that - then.

I liked her OK until:
1. She showed up on Leno/Letterman with a John Kerry T-shirt on and refused to talk about anything else.
2. She made a movie where she is a stripper but is apparently a stripper who is too good to get naked.

Guess he considers himself a serious actor since his stint in a Raisin in the Sun last year.

I agree with your assessment. And it's not just Chris Rock - the network and the Awards Show producers had to vet his jokes. They all are in such a sour grapes mode since the election that they wanted to SLAP all the stupid Red Staters in the face.

DiCaprio was outstanding in Gilbert Grape, but I haven't seen anything since that impressed me as much.
Haven't seen the aviator yet.
