Jessica Lunsford is the 9-year Citrus County / Homosassa girl missing since Weds night/Thursday morning 2/24
I was compelled to post this thread dedicated to prayers for her and for the all-out search efforts continuing on this rainy day. I remind myself that others have been safely returned, and that is my petition. (“But even if not . . .”)
We call upon you, El Roi, the God who sees. You know her whereabouts. We ask you to reveal her location to those in the temporal who are tasked with finding her. May Jessica be found this day....for your namesake, Jesus Christ. Amen
Prayers said for Jessica. I hope they get a break in the case today.
Dear Lord, our Heavenly Father, please be with this little girl, Jessica Lunsford on what my be the darkest days of her very short life. Please take her little hand into Yours, and show her that she is not alone in her journey. If You already have her, Lord, please shower her with love. Amen
Thank You, God, SO much for the many many people who have come together from all over to help solve this troubling situation. Thank You for all those who are out looking for her today in the rain and bad weather. Please keep them safe and able to see and take in everything they need to in order to bring this to a close. Thank You for being our perfect God and Father, our El Shaddai. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Holy Father,
We come before You knowing full well that nothing is too difficult for You. We have seen Your hand move so many times when our hearts were heavy and when it appeared that the devil had won the victory. But we know, Father, that You have given us Your Word and Your promises, and have instructed us to use the power of prayer. Therefore, we raise our cries to You and seek Your mighty hand of protection to rest upon this innocent child, asking You, Father, to hide her in the shadow of Your wings. We ask that not one hair of her head be harmed and that You would confound and confuse those responsible for her disappearance. Bring her home, Father. We will trust in Your ways and in Your perfect timing as we lay these prayers at the foot of Your Holy Throne. Great is Your faithfulness. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

cyn, My prayers continue for Jessica Lunsford and her family. God's protection over Jessica. Lord, please protect this little one. Surround her with your angels. Bring her home to her family. Provide this family with comfort and peace. Take away their fear. Surround them with your love. In Jesus' precious name. Amen

In the news now: A young girl is seen in a convenience store surveillence tape in the hours after her disappearance just 1/2 mi from girl's home. It kinda looks like her; family doesn't think it is, though.
