Arnie on steroids: "Yes I would do it again. No regrets."

ABC also took that comment out of context in their promo for the interview. Ah-nold pointed out that he and others were experimenting w/ doctors' assstance back in the day before their was the bad information about the drugs. He isn't going to say that the decision THEN would ne different because of what's known NOW.

>Some lib on TV the other day said that Condi was "unseasoned" while senator Hillary was w/her vast experience in the WH (co-presidency implied).

Unseasoned? Nancy Sodenburg (Clinton UN Amb) was nominating Condi for Nobel prize in LATimes.

I saw an article last week, that Biden said he would explore a presidential run in 2008, even though he acknowledged in the article, Hillary was the favorite. So I'm thinking half of the interview will be Biden and Russert yucking it up with this sideshow.

This morning, MSNBC surely is making a big deal out of Saddam's half brother being captured. Several talking heads have chimed in. The retired military analyst said the half-brother's capture is reported to have come after a tip from Syria. He added Syria often "gives us a bone" when they need to. Both analysts discussed the importance of this guy in providing financing for the insurgents.

Interesting that Condi has spent a lifetime doing respectable things, being in charge, working at high levels in government, studying international affairs. Condi is a superpower in this respect.

Hill has spent a life hanging on a charismatic psychopath's coattails only running for senate with the entire power of the WH at her back. Prior to that she was making a name for herself by doing nothing but riding on other's work. I cannot think of a single, smart initiative she has done or been part of on her own.

Thank God, Safire says he doesn't buy what his collegues are saying about telling the truth. The Administration said what they believed. "Bush lied" is the big lie that has more than made it into the conventional wisdom.

What is the point of watching these shows anymore when they have the same guests week after week after week? What's the matter, can't they get anyone else to come on?

Ooooohh, when Dowdie uses the "dominatrix" delusion er allusion, Timmy asks her "Who called it that?" And she doesn't name Givens but does name the Washington Post.

When asked if she never wears boots.......she demur rs by saying that it was the image of the stiletto boots reviewing the troops.

Dowdie says that the two parties won't let two women run against each other.

Mara, Juan
Bush being criticisized for his personal endorsemant of Putin..(Here on FR there was discussion that Bush was too hard on Putin.)..Democrats in Russia saying glad the whole focus on democracy..(Kristol) Juan of course saying Bush gets locked in a box where he can't challenge Putin.(Juan mistakenly says Putin supported war in Iraq..Juan blows it again)

Fovorite soundbites ever(Wallace)"To say we are going to attack Iran is ridiculous..however all options are on the table"..Krauthammer says that nothing will stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.
mara says no policy..Kristol says deplomacy first then war..Juan says problem is we are building bridges in Europe and it showed Bush buying into diplomacy..We don't have the military to attack.(now that we have war in Iraq, tut tut)

I think Juan was cut off earlier from saying Iran should have been the focus of war, not Iraq...(Juan would have yelled if Iran had been attacked, I believe, just another way to criticize the Iraq war)

Bush has explained how many resolution Iraq had against it, the breaking of the ceasefire agreement, the shooting at our planes and the terrible sadistic regime..We have some steps to go through..(One is Europe realizing it would be closer to the fallout)

I believe they are trying to hint that she is the President's mistress.
#####

If they try that line of attack, they will drive yet another group of "undecideds" or "democrats who think that republicans are mean" into the republican ranks.

I cannot think of a single, smart initiative she has done or been part of on her own.

We would never refer to it as smart, but Hillary's Health Care Reform, complete with physician lock-out, proved her infamy.

HA! I knew she wouldn't be able to resist. Note the subtle reference to black boots and reviewing the troops...aka fascism or Naziism.

MTP isn't on for another hour here. I will try to catch the panel and see what she said in the first part.

If conservative voters continue to admire Condi and our choice of clothing and boots, Hillary will probably show up for the dem primaries in cowboy stilettos......that is, if there is enough available leather to encase her legs. (Big Meow and shudder.)

Dominatrix! Pfff! That's hitting below the knee. In terms of relative stature, I suppose that's entirely appropriate.

Boy THREE columnists from the NYT, there's some balance for ya!!

What's funny though is how Safire and Friedman are referring to each other and they both totally ignore Modo.

As for Modo, she has a whiny annoying voice and comes off as terminally juvenile and as deep as a high school chick. She's not bad looking at all, but why would any guy want her? If you have to put up with a whiny voice and childish attitude, it should be from a chick in her twenties, not forties.

Fox and Friends is showing Oscar fashions. Just thought I'd throw that in.

Reporter asks workmen who is going to win, and no one knows. Apparently, reporter says, no one has seen any of the movies. HA!

WOW! Great scenes just rushed by in my mind - like when time lapse photography speeds up the scudding clouds.

I would almost want H* to run just to watch the debates!
