It is important we know what the charges were.

If they were for capital punishment crimes (e.g., murder) that is one thing.

If they were for being caught surfing the web or listening to American Free Radio, that is another.

Please ping me when you find out.

Thanks.

I'll be long gone by the time the 100th anniversary of Mao's revolution gets here.

If the Chi-coms' "wave of the future" keeps rolling along on a sea of "free trader" technology and FDI and some American's worship of "cheap" goods I'll miss the fun of watching shocked, disbelieving and traumatized "free traders" and their families being led out of their mansions by their business partners' people's police.

Little hand-lettered signs hanging around their necks. "murderist landlords!" ya know, that kind of stuff just like Mao's day. I hope one people's policeman wag scribbles one that reads, "This is what Lenin meant by useful idiot".

Mormons believe murder isn't covered by the atonement, neither is adultery

----------------------

Doctrines of Salvation

Sermons and Writings of Joseph Fielding Smith Vol. I

Compiled by Bruce are McConkie

from pg 135

Beginning of quote

"Joseph Smith taught that there were certain sins so grievous that man may commit, that they will place the transgressor beyond the power of the atonement of Christ. If these offenses are committed, then the blood of Christ will not cleanse them from their sins even though they repent. Therefore their only hope is to have their own blood shed to atone, as far as possible, in their behalf." [Joseph Fielding Smith]

This is scriptural doctrine, and is taught in all the standard works of the church. [Bruce R. McConkie]

End of quote

Pages 133-135 are good reading too!

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but the gals look "han" more than Tibetan. But, I'm no expert.

that girl looks chinese, has a chinese name, in a place that looks like eastern china (rather than tibetan plateau), carries a clear sign that says "murder". what more do you want? what's the deal with the tibetan mumbo jumbo?

The rifle he is using is a 7.62X39. Not usually associated with damage we see here

Not at normal engagement ranges of tens to hundreds of meters, but at 1/2 meter or less?

If the women in the photographs *did* in fact commit a premeditated murder . .

Given the propensity of ChiComs to lie just about whenever they open their mouths or print something, that's mighty big IF.

The best way to limit imports from China is to return to tariffs. Globalists hate tariffs.

Unfortunately, we have already sold China our textile infrastructure. We could not clothe ourselves without trade with the communists. We are 20 years too late.

Any centerfire rifle round at point blank range tends to make things explode. Is anyone else wondering how effective HST's head was as a silencer for his suicide 45?

"2. The rifle he is using is a 7.62X39. Not usually associated with damage we see here. Chinese traditionally use only one bullet, and then charge the family for it. I have a really hard time believing that one shot did this kind of damage. Was the photo retouched?"

Are you sure it's not a 7.62x54? Looks like it might be to me.

Yes, if you read back through the posts, you'll find that we discussed the fact that it may be a dragonov knock off, which means its probably 7.62x54R.

I know that one 7.62x39 cannot do the damage we see. I am very skeptical about this.

Although i havent been witness to such personally, I would imagine a 7.62/.30 military round would do this damage at point blank range.

JB or squantos, any insights ???

At point-blank range like that depicted in the photo, yep, a 7.62 x 39 from the rear could take the whole top of your head off. I know it can be done with the 5.56 x 45. Depends on the entry angle from the rear. If the bone at the back of the skull has been sufficiently split, the bone of the temples and face are fairly thin and may not be enough to keep the top on.

From the photo, I can't tell if the executioner's rifle is a Druganov or a standard AK with a long barrel. I'm no expert on Russian-designed firearms, and the Kalashnikov design has so many variants, who knows. If it is the Druganov, you betcha the 54R round has sufficient power to do the sort of damage depicted.

Sorry if I sound bland about it. A stint as a USMC Corpsman will do that to you.

First, in case Ive not said so before, thank you for your service, to the country as well as the RKBA.

when you say corpsman, as in medical etc ? i ask because, although i havent witnessed these types of injuries firsthand, I do have an interest in how our weapons impact the body, and pictures must not even come close to the reality of the body seen in combat wounds.

Ive always felt that if you are armed, you should be prepared for the reality of the tagets appearance, should you ever have to use it...

Yep 7.62x39 will do the damage in the picture as well as will the newer 5.45x39 round at that range........

Thanks for the bon mots, although my service was no big deal, to me at least. I was in from 1979 to 1982, and except for the 1980 Iran hostage crisis, there wasn't much going on. We were making ready for Iran, but Reagan's Inugural solved that. $:-)

Even in relative peacetime, though, being a "doc" (yeah, that's medical) on a big Marine base like Camp Pendleton was a lot of work. Can't have hundreds of amped teenagers running around with guns without something bad happening once in a while. Plus vehiculars, assults, drunk and disorderly, etc.!

As far as the "targets appearance", be advised that you can be fully OK with that and then the smell will get you. That's harder to get used to, at least it was for me. Never did barf though, even once!

From my point of view, just going thru basic and then serving out your min contract says alot, due to my 'almost' going in on 4 separate occasions. long story short, 'delayed entry' contract was cancelled due to massive injuries in a car wreck, then a pi$$ poor attitude toward dicipline during two enlistment thoughts, plus peacetime , made me fear more brig time than duty time.

then finally, I had the mind right for going and was denied enlistment during the downsizing of the 90s. Day late and a college degree short.

Squantos, BTW thanks as well for your service too, in case Ive forgotten in the past,

Anyways, I really hadnt thought about the 'smell', but a weak stomach was never one of my downfalls either, prolly why I was able to drink so much back then and develop that attitude. But it still amazes me how most people cant even look at the headshots from even rotten.co , and claim to be able to shoot at every encounter...
